Our Basecamp

Your guide through the mobile home jungle

Find your perfect vehicle at Basecamp.

Our basecamp is here to help you navigate the rather technical and complex world of campers. Here, we will bushwhack you through the jungle step by step with cool content.

What are the different kinds of vehicles?

Basis

At Sunlight we generally differentiate between the cool and compact camper vans and the more spacious motorhomes.

Camper Van (CLIFF)

We call our Camper Van CLIFF and it is all about conversion, not about bodywork. Thus, we take an existing vehicle and transform the interior into the perfect home on wheels.

Low Profiles Mobile Home

The classic motorhome. In the Low Profiles the driver's cabin is partially integrated in the vehicle's body, giving it more living space than a camper van.

Coach Builts Motorhome

"The spacious. With its over cab beds, they offer basically an extension of the motorhome – accomodating two sleepers – without adding length. Vers popular with families.

A Class Motorhome

Very generous and very comfortable. Here the driver's cabin is fully integrated in the vehicle, meaning we design it all – from front to back.

How to remember

Generally you can memorize our classification like this: we equip our camper vans while we construct our motorhomes.
